How To Build a Franchise
September 4th, 2008 by outsidethecreaseWith Fantasy Hockey season just around the corner, and everyone preparing for drafts, I had the thought “what if each NHL team could do their own fantasy draft?”
What if they could all start their franchise over, put every player into a pool and re-build your franchise from scratch. Based on age and circumstances, and leaving contracts out of this, I am going to spend the next couple of days putting together a list of what this draft may look like.
Using the 2008 draft order and a serpentine system (last pick in round 1 gets first pick in round 2) this is how it might play out.
